Over the years the relationship between Stremicks Heritage Foods and Nestle grew and in 1994 Stremicks Heritage Foods was one of only four companies in the U.S. to grant an exclusive license from Nestle to manufacture, market, sell, and distribute both ESL (extended shelf life) refrigerated products including Coffee-mate, Nesquik, Nestea, and Kern’s beverages west of the Mississippi.

In 2005 Stremicks Heritage Foods purchased the Kern’s brand from Nestle but continued on as the licensee for the other remaining brands. Since becoming a Nestle Licensee, Stremicks Heritage Foods has helped to grow each brand significantly both in distribution and sales.
